Rain spoiled the campaign of Odisha U-19 team in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy East Zone One-day League as they finished fourth with 10 points from five matches at Dhanbad today. Led by Saurabh Rawat, Odisha won one game, defeating North East by 14 runs and lost one to Bengal by eight wickets. Odisha shared points in their remaining three matches, which were abandoned due to rain.
In their fifth and last match against Assam at Railway Stadium in Dhanbad today, Odisha were 56 for eight in 31.5 overs when rain forced a premature end to the contest.
